Can giving voice assistants personalities improve better user experience?
I chose Google Home because we tend to perceive voice assistants as non-judgmental devices that we can not only command them to complete miscellaneous tasks but also receivers of stories we want to keep private from other people. They are always listening just like a therapist. I speculate whether giving personalities to these devices can better simulate users’ situation and enhance the functionality of an assistant.

She consoles her user throughout the session but progressively reveals her own intimate experience. She eventually stops letting her user talk and asks for her user’s advice.
